I trained as an Economist and while this provided significant analytical skills, I wanted to get into a more generalist field of management. While studying a Post Graduate MBA diploma, it became apparent to me that Marketing provided me with the breadth of challenge that I was looking for. It is the perfect balance between 'hardcore' data-driven analysis and the more intuitive 'soft' skills that revolve around consumer and buyer behaviour and advertising and communications strategy. I am motivated by constant environmental change and the challenges that it provides which is why consulting in the field of Marketing keeps me motivated to help people achieve their business goals and future aspirations.
