IntroductionMy favourite marketing
I've always loved words. I love reading them, speaking them, hearing them, I simply love language! From a young age I knew that I was a great communicator, and that writing was going to be my thing. I decided on marketing as a career because it incorporates language, numbers, psychology and whole lot of creativity into one role, and that role can grow as big as it wants to. I see marketing as one of the most essential elements of a company, figuring out what your customer wants, how you will sell to them, and furthermore, how to keep those clients and turn them into brand advocates. I understand marketing, and more specifically I understand marketing on social media. There is huge potential right now for brands to move into a more digital space with every element of their company, specifically with their marketing efforts, but this must be done well. If you've seen or read Game of Thrones, you'll know that Arya changes her face - that's what I do for brands. I put on different faces (with no bloodshed) and I talk to audiences in the voices that they will relate to and engage with. If you haven't read or seen GoT (it's great - you should), then the response is the same - you need to talk to your audience in a manner that they will connect with. That's the trick with social media, you have to know who you're talking to - and I'm great at that. The majority of my experience has been in the digital world, with an emphasis on social media marketing. I've worked on a vast range of projects, from managing the different social channels of SMEs, to developing and running large campaigns for bigger organisations. Despite this speciality my skill set is very adaptable to any given scenario, and I feel confident carrying out any type of marketing project.
I'm a very adaptable person and I enjoy making the most of my ability to interact and get along well with all types of people in all types of situations, from hippies at a concert to extremely wealthy people at beautiful events.
Having spent most of my years since 15 between the UK, Spain, France and Germany, I've been exposed to different cultures and different opinions, and that's enabled me to be very understanding of others. Personally, I believe that this is a strong asset to have, because aren't us humans odd creatures?
